Godavari Biorefineries Ltd, Sameerwadi has been awarded the "BEST SAFETY AWARD" for the year 2023-2024 by the Department of Factories, Boilers, Health and Safety - Government of Karnataka (Bengaluru).

The award was presented to Godavari Biorefineries Limited team represented by Mr. Suribabu, DGM (PO) and Mr. Bandekar, Asst Manager (Safety) by Mr. K Shrinivas, Director of Factories.

The award ceremony took place at Gulbarga on 20th July 2024.

Godavari Biorefineries Limited has been honored with the prestigious FICCI Chemical and Petrochemicals Award for "Excellence in Corporate Environmental Responsibility." This recognition highlights the company's commitment to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship in the chemical industry. The award underscores Godavari Biorefineries' leadership in promoting eco-friendly innovations and responsible business operations.

Godavari Biorefineries Limited has been recognised in the category 'Bioenergy - Outstanding Chemical Process Based Project (Ethanol)' at the 4th India Green Awards by the Indian Federation of Green Energy (IFGE).

The award was felicitated by the Shri Nitin Jaikumar Gadkari, Hon’ble Union Minister of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India.

December 22, 2023:GBL Sameerwadi proudly announces its exceptional feat of being honored with the distinguished "Best Technical Efficiency Award (Pvt Sugar factory)" for the crushing season of 2022-23. This esteemed accolade was presented by a panel of eminent dignitaries, including Mr. Shivanand Patil, the Hon'ble Sugar Minister, Mr. Vincent D'souza, C&I Secretary, Mr. Ravikumar, Cane Commissioner Bengaluru, and Dr. Khandgave, Director SNSI Belgaum.

Godavari Biorefineries Limited received the award for “Most Innovative Company of the Year 2022” at the 10th edition of Tefla’s Sugar Summit Summit 2022. The summit was held to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the global sugar markets, bringing together top regional and global leaders to solve the big challenges.

The award was presented by Hon'ble Mr. Sanjay Gangwar, Minister, State of Uttar Pradesh on 24th September 2022 in Agra.

Godavari Biorefineries Ltd (GBL), a pioneer in manufacturing ethanol-based chemicals in India and one of the largest producers of ethanol in India, has been awarded with two prestigious accolades at the 51st Annual Convention hosted by SISSTA.

Godavari Biorefineries Ltd, Sameerwadi  won the Silver Award for Best Distillery in Karnataka Region at the SISSTA’s 50th Golden Jubilee Annual Convention on 1st and 2nd October 2021.

Godavari Biorefineries Limited has won an  award for ‘Excellence in Manufacturing in Chemicals’ at the FICCI-organised India @75: Chemical and Petrochemical Industry Awards 2021.

The award was presented by Hon’ble Minister Mrs. Anupriya Patel, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry of India, in the presence of senior officials from the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Government of India, Industry captains, other stakeholders of the sector at the Summit on “Global Chemical & Petrochemicals Manufacturing Hubs in India” held in  New Delhi on November 25, 2021
