The choice of chemicals used to is an important driver of sustainability throughout our customer’s value chain. A chemical’s sustainability is based its origin (renewable), the preservation of natural resources , manufacturing methods, and the emissions produced.
We develop products that not only have lower environmental impact but also provide performance equivalent or superior to existing materials.
The use of resources to make green power, that also mitigate greenhouse gases, and the manufacture of biofuels and chemicals from ethanol also shows a model of how a simple crop such as sugarcane can be used to make a host of products, used in a variety of applications. It demonstrates that fossil fuels have an alternative and the products we make are examples of this model.
