Godavari Biorefineries Limited (GBL) was honoured with the prestigious ICC – K. V. Mariwala Award at the 60th Annual ICC Awards, held on 19th September 2025 in Mumbai.
The recognition was jointly awarded to GBL and the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai, for their pioneering collaboration in developing a breakthrough single-step catalytic conversion process that transforms CO₂ into Di-Methyl Ether (DME)—a clean fuel and versatile chemical feedstock.
This award celebrates GBL’s commitment to sustainability, renewable chemistry, and circular economy principles, and underscores the importance of strong industry–academia partnerships in driving green innovation for the future.
