Godavari Biorefineries Limited received the award for “Most Innovative Company of the Year 2022” at the 10th edition of Tefla’s Sugar Summit Summit 2022. The summit was held to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the global sugar markets, bringing together top regional and global leaders to solve the big challenges.
The award was presented by Hon'ble Mr. Sanjay Gangwar, Minister, State of Uttar Pradesh on 24th September 2022 in Agra.

Bagged two awards from the South Indian Sugarcane & Sugar Technologists’ Association (SISSTA)’s 51st Annual Convention
Godavari Biorefineries Ltd, Sameerwadi won the Silver Award for Best Distillery in Karnataka Region at the SISSTA’s 50th Golden Jubilee Annual Convention on 1st and 2nd October 2021.
The South Indian Sugarcane & Sugar Technologists’ Association (SISSTA) was founded in July1967. Its area of operation extends over the states of Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Orissa, Pondicherry and Kerala. Its main function is to undertake, carry on and help research and other scientific studies in connection with the Sugar Industry including cane cultivation, factory technology and allied disciplines such as paper, distillery, power etc.
SISSTA’s contribution to the spread of knowledge in the factory operations has made the South Indian Sugar Industry most-modern and highly efficient contributing in a large measure to the increase in overall efficiencies.
Godavari Biorefineries Ltd. was recognized by the Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI) for its outstanding export performance at an award held in Bangalore on September 15, 2021. It was awarded with the Best District Export Award, Bagalkot. The award was handed over by Shri. Murgesh Nirani, Minister for Large and Medium Industries, Government of Karnataka.
The award was given to Godavari Biorefineries for the Best Export Performance during 2020-2021 of district based exporter of the State (excluding Bangalore Rural & Urban Districts).
