We are proud to share that our Chairman & Managing Director, Mr. Samir Somaiya, has been honored with the prestigious Plinio Nastari Sugar Excellence Award by the International Sugar Organization (ISO). Instituted in 2024 to recognize global leadership in sustainable sugar and bioenergy, the award celebrates Mr. Somaiya’s outstanding contributions and marks a historic moment as he becomes the first Indian to receive this recognition. This achievement reflects his belief that business must drive social, environmental and financial progress together, and reinforces GBL’s commitment to creating a beautiful, sustainable and inclusive world.
