Overview

We make ethyl acetate on a large scale. Due to its low toxicity, it is used as a solvent in inks and paints and also as an extraction solvent. Its main function is to dissolve the resin, control the viscosity and modify the drying rate. It can also be used as a gelling agent in the manufacture of powder, essences and perfumes. It is miscible in all proportions with common organic solvents.

Packing: M S Drums, HDPE Drums, ISO tank, Bulk Parcel.

Applications

Among organic solvents, ethyl acetate is regarded as being one of those with the least environmental impact. It is both highly effective and at the same time easily broken down in both air and water. It is also used in paints as an activator or hardener. It is also used as an industrial solvent in coatings, adhesives and rayon to dissolve material. It is a common ingredient in lacquers, varnishes, and thinners that coat surfaces. The main uses of Ethyl Acetate are in the manufacture of a variety of coating formulations such as epoxies, urethanes, cellulosics, acrylics and vinyls. Applications for these coatings are numerous including nitrocellulose and cellulose acetate lacquers, varnishes and shellacs for wood furniture and fixtures, auto refinishing, decorating ceramic objects, automotives, and architectural coatings for interiors and exteriors. It exhibits high dilution ratios with both aromatic and aliphatic diluents and is the least toxic of industrial organic solvents
