Acetic Acid Biobased has been certified by U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) under the BioPreferred program for 100% Biobased Carbon content.
Applications
Acetic Acid is mainly used to manufacture Vinyl Acetate Monomer (VAM) & Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) which are intermediates used in the manufacture of a number of industrial polymers and resins for the production of paints & coatings. The major esters of acetic acid such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate etc. are commonly used as solvents for paints, and coatings.
This chemical also appears under: Food & Beverage, Personal Care and Cosmetics, Textiles and Leather, Pharmaceutical
