Applications
Biobased Butanol is widely used as a solvent in paints & coatings, as it prevents the blushing of certain coating films when they dry under humid conditions. It improves the flow and gloss as well as resistance to blushing in cellulose lacquers. Biobased Butanol reduces the viscosity of the paints and improves the quality, even when added in small proportions
